Enjoy Bed & Breakfast or an extended stay year round at Memory Lane Inn, located ten miles west of Morden and a mile off the highway. This Manitoba Bed & Breakfast is a restored turn-of-century farmstead. Stay in the farmhouse itself or in a comfortable cabin.

Memory Lane Inn Bed and Breakfast Manitoba

Memory Lane Inn bed and breakfast is located close to Shannondale, 20 kilometers of groomed ski / bike / hiking trails in pristine Manitoba ravine country. It is also one mile south of the Pembina Valley Snow Kickers' groomed snowmobile trails. The Manitoba segment of the Trans-Canada Trail passes near the farm, as does the Pembina Valley raptor migratory flyway. Golf at Manitoba's prestigious Minnewasta Golf and Country Club, ten minutes away. Explore the area's rich and diverse ethnic heritage (click on Attractions). Sample some great summer theatre by the Oak Valley Production Company, as well as by the recently formed Candlewick Productions. Visit the Canadian Fossil Discovery Centre, home of the largest collection of marine fossils in Canada. Or go on a two-day supervised fossil dig.

UPDATE!

The ski season opened at Shannondale on November 8 with the arrival of the first serious snow and several enthusiastic ski buffs. As well, the sounds of several freshly serviced snowmobiles echoed across the countryside. Here's to a great winter of skiiing and outdoor fun in the valley.

Animals are an important dimension of life at Memory Lane. The farm is home to an assortment of friendly dogs, cats and horses. Well-mannered pets (including horses) are welcome for bed and breakfast at Memory Lane.

Values at Memory Lane include non-consumerism, scratch cooking, openness to sharing life stories, respect for individual differences, appreciation of nature and commitment to a rural lifestyle. Work on a yoga / meditation cottage continues and will hopefully be ready for guests' use sometime in 2009.
